OWEN PARK BEGINNING BIRDING

Learn Beginning Birding!  Take a Self-Guided Bird and Nature Walk at Owen Park, 6021 Old Sauk Road.  Follow walk paths and maintain safe social distancing of at least 6 feet.

Did you know that Birding is the most popular general public recreation activity? Practice your Birding Skills and Join the Fun!  Borrow a Bird Guide or download an inexpensive Birding App such as iBird, Audubon, or Sibleys and hit the trail! Try and identify 3 birds you see that you did not already know. Bring binoculars or a camera if you have one.  Post your bird sightings and pictures on the Friends of Owen Park Facebook page! When regular outing schedules resume come back to enjoy Naturalist led Bird and Nature Outings at Owen Park at 2:30pm the 2nd Saturday every month co-sponsored by Madison FUN partners Madison Parks, Madison Audubon and friends of Owen Conservation Park. See http://cityofmadison.com/parks/blog and co-sponsor websites and Facebook pages for more self-guided walk suggestions. Contact 608-698-0104
