The Madison Bead Society was formed in 1992 and was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2001. Its mission is to provide a forum for the enjoyment and study of beads and related topics. Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month (except in winter), alternating between eastside and westside locations. The meeting program usually consists of an instructor teaching a technique or discussing a bead-related topic, or members just share projects.
Jewelry is in the display cases near the University Hospital gift shop. Parking is available in the hospital ramp for a fee.
