Ten small businesses in Dane County will be honored at a networking event June 14 in Madison.
The 31st annual contest, sponsored by UW-Extension's Small Business Development Center, recognizes small companies for the risks they take and the community contributions they make, organizers said.
This year's winners of the Dane County Small Business Awards are H&H Group Holdings, Madison; Naviant Inc., Verona; Wisconsin Management Co., Madison; All-Color Powder Coating, Oregon; Beacon Athletics, Middleton; Graze, Madison; Communication Innovations, Fitchburg; Coopers Tavern, Madison; Madison Music Foundry, Fitchburg; Wisconsin Financial Services, Madison.
The event will be 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Madison Hotel, 706 John Nolen Drive. Cost: $25. For more info, call 608-262-3909.
Keynote speaker will be Alice Tillet, president of Pacific Cycle. Attendees will be able to network with more than 250 Dane County business owners and professionals, plus government and university officials who serve the small business community.
