Financial Advisor Lauri Droster has received a national award for workplace diversity from RBC Wealth Management, headquartered in Minneapolis. Droster, who is Branch Director of the RBC Wealth Management office in downtown Madison, was chosen from 140 RBC Branch Directors nationally to receive the award.
Droster, who also heads the Droster Team at RBC Wealth Management, was recognized for working diligently to encourage young women to consider financial planning as a career and mentoring female financial advisors at RBC branches around the country. She is past president of the RBC Women's Association of Financial Advisors where she led the charge to encourage women to continue to build and expand their financial careers. She also has a long track record of hiring female interns interested in finance who are attending the University of Wisconsin.
Droster is the only female managing director of a major brokerage firm in Madison and one of only seven women who head the 140 RBC branches around the country.
