Bill Kaminski, owner of Cost Cutters of Madison, Inc., which includes 50 salons in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin, has been awarded the Regis Corp Cost Cutters Franchisee of the Year. Regis Corp. is the largest hair salon company in the world, overseeing more than 10,000 salons. Cost Cutters of Madison competed against 18 other Cost Cutters franchisees around the U.S. In addition, the 250 employees of the salons Kaminski owns recently honored him with a lifetime mentor award.
Kaminski's Cost Cutters salons also earned a Regis Corp. community service award for providing complementary haircuts and hair styles to hospice patients for the past 10 years as well as donations to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, food pantries, Toys for Tots, the UW Carbone Cancer Center and more.
In addition, Regis Corp honored Dolly Norris, Cost Cutters Regional Director who oversees 20 Cost Cutters salons in southern Wisconsin, with the operator of the year award.
