JOB OPENING SKILLED LABORER PARKS, FORESTRY & FACILITY MAINTENACE Vacancy for a Skilled Laborer for the City of Beaver Dam. Employment to begin in July 2019. Work duties include, but are not limited to, repairs, maintenance and cleaning of 22 Parks and Public Facilities, providing support for recreational activities, turf & flower bed maintenance, snow removal, ice rink maintenance, operation & maintenance of commercial & heavy equipment, knowledge of building construction and HVAC principles, playground construction, welding and fabrication skills, ability to become a certified pool operator, Forestry skills including planting, pruning, identification and general care of public trees. Must work effectively with the public, a high degree of problem-solving skills desired. Will perform other duties as assigned and within employee capabilities. This position involves extensive strenuous manual labor. Must hold a valid Wisconsin commercial drivers license. Graduation from high school or have GED.
