The Craft and Hobby Association selected the new Fiskars Push and Print Stamp Factory as winner of its 2008 Innovation Award, Best of Class for Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting.

Fiskars Brands Inc., based in Madison, is a subsidiary of Fiskars Corp., a Finnish corporation.

The tool is a patent pending design that allows consumers to lay out their entire project on a removable plate using multiple clear stamps of any kind. When the Fiskars high-density pigment ink pad is then inserted, it creates a self-inking customized stamp that can be used over and over without any manual re-inking (as required by traditional stamping). The result is a crisp, clear, customized design that produces multiple images quickly and with no mess.

According to product manager Stacy Okazaki, "A lot of innovation and consumer research went into our Stamp Factory. This solves many issues that crafters had with the traditional method of stamping, and our feedback on the finished tool has been very positive."
